MISSION: The mission of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Racine is to enhance the community with an emphasis on enhancing the lives and futures of its children. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream and succeed, great things will happen.
KIWANIS CLUB PROGRAMS: The Kiwanis Club of Grater Racine is involved in many community activities. Its biggest event is the annual Pancake Day which takes place on the first Saturday in May. This event is not only a fun activity for the community and for the Kiwanians, it also is the sole fund raising activity for the club. Funds raised through this event are used to provide scholarships and to provide grants to various child centered groups and activities through out the year. The members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Racine also provide bimonthly dinner meals at the HALO homeless shelter. Along with other Kiwanis clubs in Racine, we are responsible for the Christmas Lights Display at the Racine Zoo each winter. Each week at noon on Wednesday the club meets at the United Methodist Church , 745 Main Street, Racine. During those lunch meetings, members plan future activities and listen to presentations from invited speakers. The club is always looking for new members who share the club’s commitment to children and to the community.
