FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kiwanis Club of Greater Racine Announces 64th Annual Pancake Day for May 5th
The 64th Kiwanis Pancake Day will be held on Saturday May 5th at the Racine Festival Hall from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Racine will once again put on this annual event which brings thousands of people to Racine’s lakefront to eat pancakes and sausages while enjoying popular entertainment. This year will feature new improved pancakes.
In addition to the all you can eat pancakes; there will be sausages, juice, milk and coffee offered. Entertainment includes many local musicians. The REAL School High School Band as well as the Kiwanis Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform. The Bell City Brass Works will also be performing. The King for a Cure, Elvis impersonator Mike Bishop , Gary Ricchio and other entertainers will be part of the entertainment.
In addition to the entertainers, hundreds of volunteers will be helping the Kiwanis Club make this event possible. Celebrity volunteers include Mayor Cory Mason, County Executive Jonathan Delagrave, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos as well as many others.
Tickets are $6.00 in advance and $8.00 at the door. Children under 5 eat for free. Advance sale tickets can be found at many local businesses. All proceeds from the event are used by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Racine to fund scholarships for local students and to support various other community projects.
